Looking for a meaningful corporate gift for 2027? EGF member The Green Net NPC has a lovely idea that celebrates South Africa’s natural heritage while supporting practical environmental action: its 2027 KZN Biodiversity Calendar.
Priced at just R150, the calendar is more than a way to keep track of dates. It’s a year-round introduction to the plants, pollinators and gardening practices that help KwaZulu-Natal’s natural environment thrive.
What makes it special?
- Discover indigenous plants and the pollinators they attract.
- Identify invasive species and learn why they matter.
- Grow greener gardens with practical tips for local flora.
- Garden in tune with nature, with lunar gardening and companion planting guidance.
It’s a thoughtful gift for clients, colleagues, suppliers and anyone who enjoys gardening or cares about biodiversity. For businesses, it’s also a simple way to share a positive environmental message beyond the workplace or event itself.
An opportunity to support biodiversity
The Green Net is a not-for-profit company working with communities on KwaZulu-Natal’s South Coast to promote environmental awareness and practical local solutions. Its projects include beach clean-ups, plastic-waste management, school and community food gardens, reforestation and biodiversity education.
By ordering calendars, businesses can support this work while helping more people appreciate and protect the natural environment. Companies interested in supporting The Green Net’s biodiversity and environmental education work more broadly could also contact the organisation to discuss potential sponsorship or partnership opportunities.
