MEET THE SPEAKERS
Lisa Jade Merven, GingerBiscuit
Founder and Head Ginger of GingerBiscuit, a company that contributes to making the world a better place by creatively connecting people in a sustainable way through green event management, outsourced sustainability consulting and training. Lisa-Jade also sits on the board for the Event Greening Forum, focusing predominately on the association’s marketing, and was recently awarded Top 40 Women in MICE 2018, from Meetings Magazine. She is a firm believer in collaboration and unity, without losing the individuality of each unique human being, and embraces inclusion, diversity and creative connection between people. A realistic-dreamer of sorts.
Samir Randera-Rees, World Wildlife Fund
Samir is an energetic and passionate young conservationist. He currently manages the Water Source Areas programme at WWF, through which he tries to improve the management and protection of South Africa’s strategic water provisioning landscapes. He is also an entrepreneur, having developed the Whispers of the Wild app, a digital game ranger for your next game drive, and he has put his communications skills to good use on the small screen, having presented on 50/50 and appeared in Keeping Up with the Kruger.
